Join My Group
I am actively recruiting motivated PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, and undergraduate students to join my research group at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
What I Look For
I value students and researchers who:
- Can bridge theory and implementation
- Write clear, well-documented code
- Communicate technical ideas effectively
- Are curious about both mathematical foundations and real-world applications
- Work collaboratively and support their peers
Research Areas
Current and planned research projects include:
- Computational Imaging: MRI reconstruction, super-resolution, inverse problems
- Bayesian Machine Learning: Plug-and-Play methods, Consensus Equilibrium
- Explainable AI: Information geometry, latent space analysis
- Medical Image Analysis: Biomedical informatics, multimodal data fusion
- Privacy-Preserving ML: Secure transforms, federated learning
How to Apply
If you’re interested in joining my group at MCW, please email me at ssreehari [at] mcw [dot] edu with:
- Your CV and transcript
- Brief research statement (1 page):
- What research areas interest you and why
- Relevant coursework or projects
- Your career goals
- Any publications, preprints, or code repositories (if applicable)
For PhD applicants, please also apply through the MCW Graduate School and mention my name in your application.
Note for prospective students: I read all emails personally and respond to serious inquiries. Please take time to review my research page and recent publications before reaching out, and explain specifically why you're interested in working with me.
